By installing a small round Bin Grain-Level Check Window in each ring of his grain bins, Enon Valley (PA) farmer Chuck Barth is able to check grain levels from the ground, eliminating the need to climb the ladder when filling and unloading. Placed next to the ladder for easy cleaning and maintenance, the windows are 3-inch PVC pipe with plexiglass glued to the pipe and caulked both inside and outside the bin. The windows are installed with the plexiglass inside the bin.
