Like Baerg, Davis, SD, farmer Harlan Temple has also devised starting and cab climate control alternatives for his John Deere 4650 tractor—a Starter Key Wing Extension and Heater/Air Conditioner Control Knob Extensions. The knob extensions are short segments of radiator hose clamped onto and extending beyond the knobs, with a nail pushed crosswise through each extended hose. A notched tool with a handle allows him to grip the nail and twist the control knob. The same tool slips over and turns the starter key.
