Angle Grinder Dust Shroud
Angle grinder with a dust shroud and suction hose attached working on some cement

Angle-grinding a concrete, metal, plastic, or other-material surface can create a significant amount of particulate-laden dust that can threaten personal health in addition to causing a mess in the surrounding area. Attaching an Angle Grinder Dust Shroud to the grinder can significantly reduce the problem. Attached around the disc, the circular shroud (models range from 4 to 9 inches in diameter) has rotating bristles that sweep the dust into a short, tube-shaped opening on its deck and into a hose that's connected to a wet/dry vacuum or sweeper. Many dust shrouds have a removable front edge, allowing the grinding tool to get closer to walls.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $30-$100, based primarily on shroud diameter and if hose is included
