Cordless Hand-Held Tire Inflator
A man inflating a car tire with a Cordless Hand-Held Tire Inflator

A Cordless Hand-Held Tire Inflator can be stored in one's vehicle or wheelchair bag, ready to serve in an emergency situation (although it's also used for other air compressor-required applications). Lightweight and relatively inexpensive, the tool includes a read-out screen, airline (hose) with various-size fittings, and LED light, and is powered rechargeable lithium-ion or alkaline batteries. To operate, one connects airline to stem, sets the required pressure, and depresses the device's button or trigger. Maximum inflation is 150 up to 175 psi, and fill time to automatic shut-off is reportedly 1 to 3 minutes (depending on make/model).

Estimated Cost Cost range: $70-$90

Limitations Limitations Addressed by Product: Lower extremity, Upper extremity
