Ratchet Gate Fastener
Secured by bolts at the top of a fence post are two metal strips having pre-drilled holes. Inserted thru the last holes is manual ratchet (metal rod with handle) that holds the chain, a portion of which is looped over the gate post.

The Ratchet Gate Fastener and E-Z Reach Gate Winch are similar devices designed to stretch tight the gate wire. Both products are fastened to the gate wire then stretched tight with a winch. A ratchet prevents the winch from releasing tension while the wire gate is closed.
