Handheld Rotary Broom Attachment
Bearded man with black knit cap-black jacket-work pants & boots sweeping brick floor of pole-barn with green & black powered rotary broom. Lower right inset of Makita rotary broom head with handle in black & white

Connected to a battery- or gas-powered multi-tool power-head, the Handheld Rotary Broom Attachment is designed to sweep away dirt, sand, snow, mud, water, etc. from hard surfaces (even debris from lawns) quickly and with less strain on one's back and shoulders than would a manual push broom. Depending on make/model, it generally consists of a 1- to 2-foot-wide, 10-inch or so-diameter, nylon-bristled or rubber-finned broom on a wheeled axle with a metal shield at the working end of a steel shaft. The power-head reportedly rotates the broom up to 7,000 rpm.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $145-$320
