Self-Adjusting Wire Stripping Tool
Self-Adjusting Wire Stripping Tool

The Self-Adjusting Wire Stripping Tool has two jaws that self-adjust over any diameter of wire, from 10 to 24 gauge. One jaw grabs and removes the wire's insulating casing, the other holds the wire in place as the handles are squeezed and the casing stripped. The tool includes a knob that screws in and out to increase or decrease the jaws' force or "pull," allowing adjustment for different wire thicknesses. It also has a "stop" that can be moved in and out to adjust the amount to insulation to be stripped-from 1/4 inch (factory set) to 1/2 inch at 1/16-inch increments. In addition, the tool's handles have been designed to both cut and crimp wire.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $20-$25
