Gas-Powered Long-Shaft Planting Auger
Vertical white orange and black gas-powered long-shaft planting auger against white background

A Gas-Powered Long-Shaft Planting Auger is a cordless, one-person tool ideal for mass planting/transplanting seedlings, potted plants, or bulbs, for deep-root fertilization, and for various other landscaping projects. The 45cc, two-cycle engine, generating an auger speed of 250 rpm, reportedly drills a planting hole in seconds. Suggested auger types are ones that are 2, 3, or 4 inches in diameter and 24 to 48 inches long, which minimizes bending over to drill the holes.

Estimated Cost Cost range: $400-$600 (incl. powerhead + planting auger)
