Battery-Powered Self-Propelled Mower
In addition to being lightweight and thus more maneuverable around objects/obstacles than gasoline self-propelled mowers, the almost noiseless Battery-Powered Self-Propelled Mower features push-button starting and immediate stopping of the blade and the electric motor when the lever is released. Holding its charge for up to 1/3 acre of mowing, the battery pack is removed to be re-charged and/or replaced with another. Among the other features standard on most models are: adjustable mowing speed; simultaneous four-wheel height adjustment; side-, rear-bag-, or mulching-discharge options; fold-up handle for compact storage; and LED battery monitor.
Cost range: $300-$450, depending on cut, battery, engine size, accessories, etc.
