- Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. It gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. This webinar is an overview of the program.

- USDA will provide a broad overview of its support to Veterans, which will focus on the 3Es: Employment, Education, and Entrepreneurship. The session will highlight various programs available through USDA that Veterans can take advantage of and share resources with them where they can go for more information.

- 3:00 p.m. EST: Improving Farm Home Accessibility, Safety, and Use of Space

- The webinar will enhance the skills of professionals in making observations within the farm home to identify physical barriers to access, common safety issues implicated in falls within the home, and maximizing use of living space for farmers with mobility impairments, balance issues, or who primarily wheel for mobility. Strategies for re-arrangement of space, modifications, and technologies will be discussed, especially in regard to bathrooms and kitchens. The emphasis is on helping AgrAbility customers use consumer tools to identify and prioritize barrier removal.

- Arthritis, back injury, carpal tunnel syndrome, amputation, paralysis, and other medical conditions restrict beekeepers from completing necessary tasks. This webinar will discuss beekeeping as a sideline enterprise, challenges faced by beekeepers with medical impairments, and assistive technology that enables beekeepers with medical impairments to do necessary tasks.
