The Signature Series Sidekick receiver alerts people with hearing impairments to devices that are equipped with Signature Series transmitters, including doorbells, telephones, smoke detectors, and fire alarms. When a transmitted signal is received, the receiver flashes a strobe light and activates colored LED lamps to help individuals distinguish between sounds, phone calls, doorbells, smoke, and other occurrences. The optional bed vibrator (Model # VIB-PJ) vibrates in a specific pattern to identify which signal was received. The Sidekick includes a digital clock with alarm and a backup battery pack. Its range is up to 500 feet.
