Non-Electric Auto-Fill Livestock Waterer
Non-Electric Auto-Fill Livestock Waterer

This Non-Electric Auto-Fill Livestock Waterer (called the Horse Drinker or Bar-Bar-A Drinker) can always provide fresh water because it is either filling or draining, thus no standing water can accumulate debris, freeze in winter, or get hot and scummy in summer; and there is no electricity involved to pose a hazard. The bowl simply fills with water each time the animal nuzzles the drinker pad and drains out after the drink. Since the water supply and valve are below the frost line, the incoming water is cool in summer and not too cold in winter. Available as either insulated or non-insulated models are waterers configured specifically for horses, for cattle/exotics, and for sheep/goats.
