TracFab Electric All-Terrain Tracked Wheelchair
The TracFab Electric All-Terrain Tracked Wheelchair is designed especially for those outdoor environments considered too rugged for conventional powered chairs. Available in 30- and 36-inch-wide models, the TracFab is powered by twin 650-watt drive motors energized by a 24-volt battery system that reportedly produces a level-surface maximum speed of 5 mph and range of 6 or 9 miles. It's controlled by an armrest-mounted joystick. Standard features include: four- or five-point harness race car-type seat with vibration-minimizing, spring-based suspension system; seat back that can be set in multiple recline positions; chair arms that rotate upward to accommodate side entry; manual or powered seat swivel options; adjustable footrests with foot straps; and cellphone-like display near the control stick. Among the many options are LED headlights, ratcheting utility clamps, armrest-mounted fishing rod holder, and extended-ranged lithium-ion batteries.
